This is a beautifully detailed, laser engraved and precision cut topographical Map of Center Hill Lake in DeKalb, Putnam, White and Warren Counties, in Middle, Tennessee with the following interesting stats carved into it: Dam Built: 1948, 415 Miles of Shoreline, Max. Length: 64 Miles, 18,220 Surface Acres Max. Depth: 190 Feet. Our handmade, solid wood, English chestnut stained frame gives it the classic look and is available in three sizes. Interesting factoid: Center Hill Lake is a reservoir created by means of a dam constructed by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers in 1948, The lake had a dual purpose: electricity production and flood control. Center Hill Dam is 260 ft high, and it is composed of concrete and earth structures, with 8 gates that are 50 ft wide each. Center Hill Lake is one of four major flood control reservoirs for the Cumberland; the others being J. Percy Priest Dam, Dale Hollow Dam, and Wolf Creek Dam.
